    Hi,

I have a question about this plugin.

Is it possible with this plugin to establish a max/min quantity for the values of an attribute? For example, if the attribute is color, with black and white as colors, users only could buy one unit for black and one unit for white (two units in total for color atrribute).

    Thanks.

    Hi Victor,

Yes doable, min/max can be set on values of attributes as you need it exactly.

Let us know if you need any other help.

    Hi Omar,

Thanks for your response. I have been seeing the plugin and I think it´s able to do something very close to my needs. The thing is that i´m preparing attributes with Gravity Forms inside Woocommerce… not using variations.  Can plugin restrict atrribute values in this case, using addons?

    A lot of thanks,

    Víctor

    Hey Víctor,

Honestly I can’t confirm, haven’t tested that, but I will be glad to fix any issue you encounter on this front.

    Hi Omar,

Gravity Forms works with woocommerce as other addons plugins for woocommerce products. The addons don´t prepare variations but in the cart appear same as variations, and in the database are saved in the same way that variations, in wp_woocommerce_order_itemmeta.

But the attributes in addons are not configured in the same way as  woocommerce. In fact, the usual attributes and attribute values of woocommerce can be empty using addons and it´s no needed to create variations. So, I think I can´t use the habitual way of your plugin, because attributes, values and variations doesn´t exist.

But in the cart and in the database addons works in the same way of variations. So, I think that if the plugin could check the variations when are sended to the cart, it could know that a attribute value is already in cart to avoid a repeated attribute value in cart.

I know is a bit strange, but maybe can be a good improvement for your plugin.

    Lot of thanks,

    Víctor

There is an important note: if I configure the plugin to avoid more than one unit per variation, the plugin works perfectly, although i´m using addons, not variations. So, I think the plugin detect the information, detect the attributes, but It would be necessary a way to restrict every value.

Thanks for the explanation Víctor, got it.

I suggest you try the free version and see to which extent it meets your needs, if some tweeks can be done to make it fully compatible with Gravity, I will be glad to work on them.

    Hi Omar,

I have installed your plugin and I have been testing. The plugin works very fine and it´s very complete, but it´s oriented to the habitual variations of woocommerce. In this case, with addons, the variations are composed in different way, attributes are not created in the habitual zone of the product admin page, but attributes work in the same way.

I give you an example. In this example, all the atrributes in the chart are composed with addons (gravity), not as usual variations. Then what I need i that when the product and one or two attribute values are equal to one selection already added to cart, plugin doesn´t allow to add the new selection to cart. Maybe are different variations, but if the product and some attribute values (1, 2, 3… this must be defined in any way) are equal, it must be possible only to add one unit.

    I hope i´m explaining.

    Lot of thanks.

    Hi again,

Can you please send us to [email protected], I believe at this point we might be able to do some customizations to make it works the way you want.
