I need to configure minimum and step quantity for category.I have 6 articles (ART1, ART2, ART3, ART4, ART5, ART6) of the same category; the configuration I need is this: the sum of the quantity of the articles ART1, ART2, ART3, ART4, ART5, ART6 must be 6 or a multiple of 6.

In minimum quantity tab settings I have enabled Per Category.

In category I have set Minimum quantity (grouped for this category)  equal to 6 and Quantity step  equal to 6.

In Cart, I have inserted 1 piece of ART1 and 1 piece of ART2; and I have two notices “Quantity step for Article1 is 6. Your current quantity is 1.” and “Quantity step for Article2 is 6. Your current quantity is 1.”.

I expected to get the warning “Quantity step for Category1 is 6. Your current quantity is 2.”

How can I do the right configuration?

    Kind reguards,

    Matteo

    Hi Matteo,

Instead of using min & step, you can use Allowed Quantities (under Fixed Quantities tab), enable it per category, and then use 6, 12, 18, 24, etc… on “grouped for this category” field on category level, delete all other settings you have made.

If you still face issues, please send us wp-admin access and category name to [email protected], we will be glad to set this up for you.

And sorry for being late in responding.

    Omar
