    Hello,

I’ve got an interesting situation here, and want to know if this plugin will help solve it. I do not use this plugin at the moment.

We are a small business selling PPE (personal protective equipment) mainly to companies direct offline, but in opening a webshop we will be open to the public too.

PPE VAT rules are unusual, in that if a company is buying for corporate use, they pay full 20% VAT on everything. However, an individual pays 0% VAT on safety boots and helmets only.

Therefore, I need some way to do the opposite of what other threads here are doing. I need to charge VAT on everything, unless the item is a safety boot or helmet being sold to a private individual.

I guess this will mean that I need some sort of declaration statement saying if a VAT number isn’t put in, you are declaring yourself a private individual and able to claim tax exemption on certain PPE items?

    Please can anyone help here?

    Cheers,
