Hi,
I enabled the option to have already-existing users verify their email. I am receiving multiple reports that the resend verification link, shown when they try to log in, is not sending the verification email.
For these users, the verification link isn’t actually one that needs to be resent. It would be the first time they receive a verification link. Is the plugin potentially looking to resend an existing link that it will not find?
Please advise.
Hi Gavin,
If you enable the option General > Verify account for current users all the current unverified users will have to verify their accounts when logging into the site.
They will have the option to resend the verification email.

Those are exactly the settings I was using. However, the resend link is not sending a verification to any of those existing users when they click it.

Is it possible to create a link that sends someone a verification link in the same way as the ‘resend’ option when looking at the ‘Users’ table on the WordPress backend?
Existing users get a verification email if we send it from the backend.

In the plugin’s settings can you please try and enable the option: General > One time activation link if it still does not work is it possible for you to share your WordPress dashboard access and we can try to register/verify the email on your website. You can send your details to [email protected]
For your second question, the only way to resend the link manually is through the Users page in the WordPress dashboard. Under the verified column there is a resend option.
