    Hi @navneet-nair,

Can you please elaborate on your issue?

It worked for me even on the free version of the WP All import.

Maybe you could try to set the import file like this:

    Meta: _alg_wc_cog_cost

If it doesn’t work, please send me your import file somehow and I can try to import it here.

Hi, we’ve been trying this with WP All Import too but failing every time.

I have set a custom field name in the CSV column in both these formats:

    Name: “_alg_wc_cog_cost” or “meta: _alg_wc_cog_cost”.

Value: {_alg_wc_cog_cost[1]}  or {meta_alg_wc_cog_cost[1]} (following the above format) but still no luck.

    Any ideas!?

    Hi Simon,

Our meta _alg_wc_cog_cost is just a regular meta like any other. WP All Import should be capable of importing it.

Can you please elaborate on the error you’re getting?

Meanwhile, can you please make sure to enable the compatibility options with WP All Import in our Compatibility section?

If you wish and if it’s possible, you could try to send us a simplified version of the file you’re trying to import? If that’s possible, you can send it to [email protected]

    Hello, thanks for your reply.

Both compatibility options for WP All Import and now checked but unfortunately it hasn’t made a difference.

At the moment the cost field uploads as zero whenever we attempt it.

Also, can I just confirm that this functionality will work with the free version of WP All Import or do we need to install the Pro version?

I will email over the CSV / XML file now.

    Hi.
I have a simular issue. The cost price does come trough as long as it is a simple product. how do i get it to work with variable products?
The _alg_wc_cog_cost link is in a custom field and its value is mapped to the value.

    Hello all,

The “_alg_wc_cog_cost” meta_key works with the WP All Import plugin for both simple and variable products.

Exporting simple products is easy, but importing variable products with variations, can be a bit complicated and requires following specific steps in the WP All Import plugin.

So, if any other custom post_meta values are imported in the WP All Import plugin, then “_alg_wc_cog_cost”meta values will also get imported.

If you encounter any issues while importing variable products with variations in WP All Import, please contact their support. They will assist you with resolving the issue.

    Regards,
    Kousik Mukherjee
