Additional Tips for a Smooth Rollout

Extra tips before you go live #

Before rolling out the Number of Products per Page – Pagination Manager for WooCommerce selector, test your shop and archive pages after every settings change, try template, custom position, and Custom CSS changes on a staging site first, set a Default option that loads quickly, and use the Selector class, Selector style, and Custom CSS fields to match your theme.

  • Test after every settings change. Visit your shop and archive pages and confirm the selector appears in the chosen position and that changing the value reloads the grid correctly.
  • Use a staging site for bigger changes. If you are editing the template, custom positions or Custom CSS, try them on a staging copy first, then move the settings to your live store.
  • Pick a sensible default. Set the Default option to a value that loads quickly on your largest categories, rather than showing all products at once.
  • Match your theme. Use the Selector class, Selector style and Custom CSS fields so the control looks native to your design.

With these checks in place, Products per Page lets your customers browse at the pace that suits them.
