ParticipantHi, I’m facing a possible regression.
after updating EU/UK VAT Validation Manager for WooCommerce today I have an issue. VAT is nor removed, at all.
I’m administrating shop based in Finland and I need VAT to be removed for every country except for Finland.
My settings are:
Valid VAT but still paying? NOT enabled
Show zero VAT: NOT enabled
Show field for selected countries only: None, as it is free version
Hide EU VAT field from checkout: NOT enabled
Debug: Enabled
Keep VAT in selected countries: comma separated list with value: FII’ve tried multiple valid VAT numbers, in the debug log they are logged as valid, but VAT is not removed.
The full story:
Until today I have the Keep VAT in selected countries set to Base. And it worked just fine. Today I updated the plugin and a new client from my country placed an order with valid VAT number, but vat was removed (shouldnt be), I reviewed settings and changed “Keep VAT in selected countries” to a list, with single value. But now plugin seems to keep VAT for every country.

I’ve just tested the plugin with the latest version (4.4.1), and I can confirm that the “Keep VAT in selected countries” option is working correctly. This applies to both the base country setting and when using a comma-separated list.
Could you please confirm if you’re using the latest version and only the Pro version (since you have a Pro license)?

thank you for responding.
The issue is gone – a few days after my initial post the update was released and it seem to fix the problem.
Also, no, I’m not yet using the pro version. I’m sorry if this was not the right place, I wasn’t sure if I should post here or create an issue on github.
