I have a site with two languages set up using WPML: German (default) and English. I have this “WooCommerce EU & UK VAT Numbers Validation” plugin installed and set up. I have translated all strings found using the WPML string translation. I cannot find a way to translate the dynamic texts like “Field label”, “Placeholder” or any of the messages. The result is that these texts are incorrect for one of the languages.
How can I translate the “Field label”, “Placeholder”, validation messages etc. using WPML?
Just answering my question for future reference. On this page – https://wpfactory.com/docs/eu-vat-manager/shortcodes/shortcodes-guide-eu-vat/ – the solution is to add the shortcode directly into the field. So in order to display the field label in English and German, add these shortcodes into the field in General > Field label:
[alg_wc_eu_vat_translate lang=”EN”]EU VAT Number[/alg_wc_eu_vat_translate] [alg_wc_eu_vat_translate lang=”DE”]Umsatzsteueridentifikationsnummer[/alg_wc_eu_vat_translate]
