three blind spots in native WooCommerce reports ↓

Totals everywhere. Answers nowhere.

WooCommerce ships with a basic Analytics tab. It tells you revenue went up. It does not tell you which product, which coupon, which country, or which payment method drove it. And it definitely does not warn you when stock is about to run out.

problem · 1

Native reports show "revenue is up." Up because of what?

Revenue$42,180
Orders312
Why?¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You see the total but not the driver. Was it the new linen shirt, the WELCOME10 coupon, or the holiday shoppers in Germany? Native reports do not say.

problem · 2

The best-seller is out of stock. You find out from a customer.

Linen shirt · L2 leftno alert sent
Canvas tote0refunds incoming
Bamboo cup1silent

WooCommerce shows the stock column in admin lists. It does not email you when stock crosses a threshold. By the time you notice, you've already missed orders or had to refund some.

problem · 3

Your accountant needs Excel. You have a screenshot.

Native exportCSVstrings, no formulas
WantedXLSXfilters · pivot-ready
→ manual hour every month

Native exports give you a CSV with broken date columns and no formatting. Every month-end becomes an hour of cleanup before the data is usable in a spreadsheet.

eight reports you'll actually use ↓

Every breakdown. Every export. One dashboard.

The plugin adds a dedicated Reports tab inside WooCommerce. Each report has its own filters, charts, and Excel export. Sales, products, categories, coupons, geography, stock, forecasts, payment + shipping methods.

forecast · next 30 days

Project sales by product, category, or whole store.

Configurable trend window. Use it for stock planning, seasonal forecasts, or to spot products that are quietly drying up.

filters · date + entity

Slice by day, week, month, or any range.

Stack date with product, category, country, status, payment + shipping method. Every report inherits the same filter bar.

stock · email alerts

Email when stock crosses a threshold.

Per-product or global threshold. Configurable recipient list. Daily digest or instant on threshold cross.

export · .xlsx

Every report downloads as Excel.

Date column types are preserved. Filters survive. Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers - it just works.

coupons · per-code revenue

Which discount code actually drives sales.

Average order value and refund rate per code. Spot the codes that pull in new buyers versus the ones discounting people who would have bought anyway.

geo · country + city

Sales by country, drill into city.

Click any country to expand into city-level revenue. Useful for stores running geo-targeted ads or regional shipping promos.

methods · payment + shipping

Revenue split by gateway and carrier.

charts · pie · bar · line

Three chart types, pick what fits.

Pie for share-of-total. Bar for ranking. Line for trends and forecasts. Mobile-responsive on all three.

setup

Four steps. Real numbers in under 5 minutes.

i · install

Activate the plugin

Upload the .zip from Plugins → Add New, then activate. The Reports tab appears under WooCommerce immediately.

ii · pick a date range

three real stores ↓

Three businesses. Three reporting routines.

apparel · 8k SKUs

Apparel store · "Never run out of the best-sellers again."

A clothing brand with 8,000 SKUs across sizes and colors used to find out a popular size was sold out from customer emails. Now the low-stock report runs every morning, emails the warehouse with anything under 5 units, and the forecasting module flags the SKUs about to spike.

Reports usedLow-stock · Forecast by product · Sales by category
Threshold5 units global · 2 for hero SKUs
CadenceDaily 07:00 digest to warehouse + buyer

Stockouts on top 20 SKUs dropped from 6/month to 1. Q1 revenue grew 12% with no extra ad spend.

global · EU · US · UK

Global brand · "Which city actually buys our stuff?"

A skincare brand ships worldwide, runs city-level Facebook ads, and used to spray budget evenly. Country-level reports said "Germany is big," but did not say Berlin and Munich were 70% of it. Now they drill from country to city, redirect ad spend, and stop wasting money on cities that never convert.

Reports usedGeographic (country → city) · Sales by product · Coupon performance

Ad ROAS lifted from 2.1× to 3.4× in one quarter. Two underperforming cities dropped entirely without losing revenue.

why this plugin

Built for stores where the answer is in the data.

Every WPFactory plugin ships with the same eight guarantees. Here's what running this one looks like in practice.

Clean code, reviewed

Reads directly from the WooCommerce orders table. HPOS-compatible. No extra DB tables, no cron pile-up, no third-party data exfiltration.

Docs & specs, written

Every report has its own doc page. Every filter is documented. The forecasting math is explained so you know what you're trusting.

Support that ships

Email support, fast. Feature requests are read by the dev team, not a CRM bot. Custom report shapes? Often added in a release.

14-day money-back

14-day refund on yearly and lifetime, 30 days on All Access, no questions asked. If a report you need isn't here, support helps; if it still isn't a fit, you walk away whole.

Bundle savings, real

All Access is $499 once for all 50+ plugins, lifetime, unlimited sites, and it includes every plugin we release later. Three lifetime licenses at $199 already cost $597, so the bundle usually wins by your third plugin.

Updates, regularly

v4.1.6 shipped recently. Tested against the latest WooCommerce within days of every release. HPOS-ready, PHP 8.3 compatible.

Plays well with others

Compatible with WooCommerce Subscriptions, WooCommerce Analytics, WPML, PDF Invoices. Filters exposed for every report so custom integrations slot in.

Designed for store owners

You do not need a data analyst. Pick a date range, pick a breakdown, click Export. The Excel file matches what's on screen.

How is this different from the native WooCommerce reports?
Native WooCommerce Analytics shows totals. This plugin breaks those totals apart by product, category, payment method, shipping method, country, and city, all in one dashboard. It also adds sales forecasting, low-stock email alerts, and Excel (.xlsx) exports that native WC does not provide.
Can I forecast sales by product or category?
Yes. The forecasting module projects future sales for a single product, a category, or your whole store, using historical order data and a configurable trend window. Useful for stock planning and seasonal preparation.
Does it export to Excel?
Yes. Every report exports to a .xlsx file you can open directly in Excel or Google Sheets. Date range, filters, and columns are preserved so the spreadsheet matches what you see on screen.
Does the low-stock report send emails?
Yes. Set a threshold per product or globally. When stock crosses it, the plugin emails a configurable recipient list with the affected SKUs and current quantities. No need to refresh the dashboard.
Can I filter reports by country or city?
Yes. Reports segment by shipping country and city (where the WooCommerce order has that data). Useful for stores that ship internationally or want regional revenue breakdowns.
Does it track coupon and discount performance?
Yes. A dedicated coupons report shows uses, revenue, average order value, and refund rate per coupon code. Spot the codes that drive revenue versus the ones that only discount existing buyers.
Will this slow my site?
No. Reports run on the admin side only and read from the standard WooCommerce orders table (HPOS-compatible). Frontend pages are untouched. Large date ranges are paginated.
Is the plugin HPOS-compatible?
Yes. HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) is declared compatible. Works with both the new high-performance order tables and legacy postmeta-based storage.
Does it work with custom order statuses?
Yes. Pick which order statuses count toward reports (Completed, Processing, On-hold, custom statuses). Useful for stores that have a fulfillment workflow with extra status steps.
Is the dashboard mobile-friendly?
Yes. The reports dashboard is responsive. You can review yesterday's revenue, top products, and low-stock alerts from your phone without opening a laptop.
What is the refund policy?
14 days on the yearly and lifetime plans; 30 days on All Access. No questions asked. The yearly plan also includes an upgrade credit toward Lifetime or All Access. Lifetime never renews. Yearly auto-renew can be turned off in your account.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The free version on WordPress.org covers basic sales reports and payment-method segmentation. The Pro version adds forecasting, low-stock email alerts, Excel exports, coupon performance, geographic segmentation, and category-level inventory.
