EU VAT Number is not valid

    Hello, we have a problem in the e-shop. We mainly have B2B clients, so we need to validate their VAT number. But the validation doesn’t work. It gives us the error EU VAT Number is not valid.. For example, our domestic partner SK2024011935 HAS A VALID NUMBER.

    In the plugin’s settings, under the “Validation & Progress” section, could you please change the “First validation method” option and see if it’s work better for you?

    Hello Martin,

    I just checked the VAT number SK2024011935 you provided, and it is working correctly. Here is the log:
    Success: VAT ID is valid (Country: [SK]; VAT ID: [2024011935]; Company: []; Method: [soap]).

    I suggest you update the plugin to the latest version, 2.12.8.

    If the issue is still not resolved, please send screenshots of the three settings to our support email at [email protected].

    Hi Kousik,

    where can i find this log? I found absolutely nothing in /admin.php?page=wc-status&tab=logs and not even on the server logs.
