Yes you’re right, you can delete the free version since it’s completely superfluous with the Pro.
For the issues, they need some modifications on theme/plugin files, please send us wp-admin & FTP access to [email protected] to assist you better, also some screenshots to illustrate the issues will be helpful.

Regarding the link in description, I doubt this is doable by WooCommerce (not related to the plugin).

Hi,
You can check the Description page of the plugin for more details, but what you need is pretty simple, just go to “Step Quantity” tab, enable it and make sure to tick the option “Per product”.
Then on product edit page, you will see a new field to define the step for this particular product, set it from there then check the product page (after updating the page of course).

If that was temporarily, it’s more probably an issue with VIES servers (official VAT info servers), if you still face the issue, we will need to see the logs, reach us at [email protected] please with wp-admin access.

This can be fixed by specifying the correct tax rates (not in the plugin), go to WooCommerce >> Tax >> Rates and then specify what percentage is added to each country, for the remaining of the world, if you don’t want to charge anything then put * (in country) and 0% (in rate).

Currently not possible, though, there is something a bit similar:
You can make the field optional until customer fills company field, then if filled it will be required.
If that’s not enough, please let me know, I might be able to include this as a new feature in the next update.

It’s doable, but since even the minimum quantity has many options (global, attribute, category, product level), it would be a bit challenging to have new roles for each option, I will consider this but it needs a lot of thoughts & work.
