If the Price Update: Bulk Pricing Editor for WooCommerce does not activate, or you cannot find its screens after activating, the cause is almost always a missing dependency or a plugin conflict. Work through these checks.
WooCommerce must be active #
Bulk Price Editor requires WooCommerce. If WooCommerce is inactive, the plugin loads nothing. Confirm WooCommerce is installed and active, then reload.
Do not run free and Pro at the same time #
If you install the Pro version, deactivate and remove the free version first. When both are active, the free copy steps aside for Pro, and running both can look like the plugin “did not activate”.
Check versions #
- WordPress 4.4 or newer.
- A current WooCommerce release. Very old WooCommerce versions may not register the settings tab.
Look in the right place #
After activation the plugin adds two screens, and they are in different menus:
- Settings: WPFactory > Bulk Price Converter (also WooCommerce > Settings > Bulk Price Converter).
- The tool: WooCommerce > Bulk Price Converter.
They are labeled “Bulk Price Converter” in the menu even though the plugin title is “Price Update: Bulk Pricing Editor for WooCommerce”.
Rule out a plugin conflict #
- Temporarily deactivate your other non-WooCommerce plugins.
- Reload the admin and confirm Bulk Price Editor activates and its screens appear.
- Reactivate the others one at a time to find the conflicting plugin.
