Discounted products doesn’t have “Sale price” on their product page

Hi,
Is there a way to ensure that products discounted through your plugin also have the discount reflected in the “Sale price” field under the General tab on the product page?
At the moment, since the sale price isn’t populated there, we’re unable to filter discounted products in the backend using any bulk edit/filter plugin we’ve tried.If that’s not possible, do you have any recommended methods or compatible plugins that would allow us to filter all products currently discounted via your plugin? Our goal is to be able to filter all the sales products and bulk apply a particular category to them.
