We are experiencing an issue with the “Maximum Products per User Pro” WooCommerce plugin, specifically with the Per Product limit configuration.

When configuring the maximum allowed quantity per product, the plugin appears to enforce a limit that is one item less than the configured value.

    Steps to Reproduce

Go to WooCommerce → Product → Edit Product.

Navigate to the Maximum Products per User Pro settings for the product.

Set Maximum allowed limit per product to 2.

    Save the product.

Go to the storefront and attempt to add the product to the cart.

    Observed Behavior

When the limit is set to 2, only 1 item can be added to the cart.

When the limit is set to 3, only 2 items can be added to the cart.

    Expected Behavior

The system should allow the exact number configured in the product settings.

    Examples:

Limit = 2 → User should be able to add 2 items

Limit = 3 → User should be able to add 3 items

    Impact

This creates incorrect purchase restrictions and may confuse customers because the allowed quantity is always one less than the configured limit.

    Environment

    Platform: WordPress + WooCommerce

Plugin: Maximum Products per User Pro

    Feature: Per Product Maximum Limit

    Hi,

Thank you for your message and for the detailed explanation. The information you shared is very helpful.

We reviewed the behavior from our side and everything appears to be working correctly with the proper configuration. Please follow the steps mentioned earlier to ensure the settings are configured as suggested:

    • Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Maximum Products per User.

    • Set Mode to Product quantities.

    • Set Date range to Lifetime (or your preferred period).

    • Select the relevant Order statuses that should count towards the limit.

    • Make sure Per product limits are enabled.

    • Then set the maximum quantity for the product on the product edit page.

If the issue still persists after verifying these settings, please send us temporary admin access to your website so we can investigate it directly. Before sharing access, please make sure to create a full backup of your site.

You can send the access details to: [email protected]

    Best regards,
