To see cost and profit in WooCommerce Analytics, enable the report options in Cost of Goods: Product Cost & Profit Calculator for WooCommerce at WPFactory > Cost of Goods (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > Cost of Goods) > Analytics. They are off by default. Orders and Customers columns are free; the other reports are Pro.
Cost of Goods adds cost and profit figures to the native WooCommerce Analytics reports, so you can see profitability alongside revenue without exporting anything. Most of this integration is a Pro feature, configured on the Analytics sub-tab.
Where to configure it #
Go to WPFactory > Cost of Goods (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > Cost of Goods) and open the Analytics sub-tab. Each WooCommerce Analytics report has its own group of options. Turn on what you need, save, and the columns and chart totals appear under Analytics in the WooCommerce menu.
Options by report #
Two kinds of option appear across the reports: Cost and profit columns adds columns to the report table, and Cost and profit totals adds totals to the report charts. The table below lists them and their Free or Pro status exactly as the plugin gates them.

The Orders and Customers columns are available in the free version. The chart totals, the individual extra-cost columns, and all of the Products, Variations, Categories, Revenue and Stock reporting are Pro.
The Stock report extras #
Beyond columns, the Stock report gains three Pro tools: a Cost of Goods filter dropdown that narrows the report to products with a cost recorded, a CSV download of the filtered products, and an Extra data panel showing totals such as total stock and total products.
Step-by-step #
- Go to WPFactory > Cost of Goods > Analytics.
- In the group for the report you want (for example Orders or Products), tick Cost and profit columns and, if you want chart lines, Cost and profit totals.
- Click Save changes.
- Open Analytics in the WooCommerce menu and pick the report. The new columns and totals appear.
If cost and profit do not show in Analytics #
- No cost or profit column at all. Nothing is added until you tick Cost and profit columns for that report on the Analytics sub-tab and save. There is no separate Cost of Goods report: the figures appear inside the standard reports under Analytics in the WooCommerce menu. On the free version, only the Orders and Customers reports get columns.
- The columns show zero or stay empty. Analytics reads the cost and profit saved on each order. Orders placed before you set product costs have none, so recalculate them first, see Cost and Profit Show Zero or Outdated on Existing Orders.
- Old values after a change. WooCommerce caches Analytics data. As the plugin notes on the Analytics sub-tab, clear the analytics cache at WooCommerce > Status > Tools, then reload the report.
- Profit is empty on a multicurrency store. The Analytics sub-tab also notes that if the Multicurrency sub-tab lists your store currency paired with itself, its rate must be set to
1. - The CSV export has no cost or profit columns. Cost of Goods adds its columns to the export of the Orders report and, in Pro, of the Products, Variations and Revenue reports. The export only includes them when the matching Cost and profit columns option is on. Update Cost of Goods to the latest version if they are still missing.
