Popup Notices: General Troubleshooting

General troubleshooting for pop-up notices #

To fix pop-up problems in Popups for WooCommerce: Add to Cart, Checkout & More, deactivate other plugins and reactivate them one at a time, switch to a default theme such as Storefront, clear page, CDN, and browser caches, and check the browser console for JavaScript errors. If Restrictive Loading (Pro) is set, confirm the current page matches.

  • Plugin conflicts: temporarily deactivate other plugins, confirm pop-ups work, then reactivate one at a time to find the culprit.
  • Theme compatibility: switch to a default theme such as Storefront to rule out theme overrides of WooCommerce notices.
  • Caching: clear page cache, CDN, and browser cache. The plugin loads pnwc-frontend.min.js; a stale cached copy can block new behavior.
  • JavaScript errors: open your browser developer console and look for errors. The pop-up relies on the Micromodal library; if it fails to load, try a different Micromodal loading method in the General section.
  • Restrictive Loading (Pro): if you set Page(s) or Conditional(s), confirm the current page matches, otherwise the plugin will not load there.
