Plugin helps you manage slugs (permalinks) in WordPress.
Main Features
- Old Slugs – removes old slugs from database.
- Regenerate Slugs – regenerates slugs from title for all posts at once.
Old Slugs
With this tool you can remove old slugs (permalinks) from database. “Old slugs” tool is located in “Tools > Slugs Manager > Old Slugs”.
To remove old slugs simply click “Remove all old slugs” or “Remove selected old slugs” button.
In addition to options for removing old slugs manually, the plugin has options to remove old slugs automatically:
- Scheduled Clean Ups – sets old slugs to be cleared periodically (Every minute, Hourly, Twice daily, Daily, Weekly).
- Clean Up on Save Post – sets old slugs to be cleared automatically, when post is saved.
Regenerate Slugs
With this tool you can regenerate slugs from title for all posts. “Regenerate Slugs” tool is located in “Tools > Slugs Manager > Regenerate Slugs”.
For example, if you have a post with Hello World
title, the plugin will automatically set this post’s slug to hello-world
. To regenerate slugs simply click “Regenerate” button – this will regenerate slugs for all posts at once.
