    Hello,

The cost is not updating properly in the cost history, when I put in 20 stock and change the cost price to 10,000, it would update the stock but the cost price would be 9800, not sure why this is happening but I would see that the cost history is correct.

    Please help with this.

    Hi Tina,

I’m sorry, I can’t see the screenshot. Can you please send it again?

As for the cost of 9800, maybe it’s working how it’s supposed to be. The “Add stock” option takes into consideration the previous stock and cost to calculate the new average cost.

    Hello,

Thank you for responding, I don’t want it to calculate the average cost. If the new cost price is 9800, I want it to show 9800, is there a way to remove this feature so that the real cost price is what shows and not the average?

    Hum,

I believe that if you just want to set the cost as it is in the input, you can change the option “Products > Add stock > Cost calculation expression” to %cost%.

Let me know if it helps.
