ParticipantHello,
I have WooCommerce Measurement Price Calculator plugin in my website that allows me to sell malts in kilograms and customers can input exactly the value that they want. Example 1kg and 350 grams. I noticed that Cost for goods pro cannot calculate malt profits correctly. Is there any way to make this compatible with Measurement Price calculator?

October 4, 2022 at 7:42 am #92104Hello Tatu,
Thanks for reaching out.
We can try to make our plugin compatible with the WooCommerce Measurement Price Calculator plugin. In that case, could you please send the plugin’s zip file to [email protected] so that you may run test on our end?
Kind regards,

ParticipantHi,
I got an error message that says the message was not succesfully send. Something about gmail blockin the file. Did you get the plugin?
October 6, 2022 at 11:06 am #92338Hello Tatu,
We have received the plugin’s zip file. So, I have passed the compatibility request to our development team. They will look into the viability of this and get back to you as soon as they can.
However, for a temporary fix, you can set the cost of a product from the admin order edit page. In that case, you shouldn’t set any cost for the product from the product edit page. Then, from WooCommerce > Orders > Your order > Admin Order edit page > Cost of goods field, you can input the total cost of that product.
I hope it helps.
Kind regards,

MoshtafizurMay 12, 2023 at 1:01 am #114891Hi Tatu,
Sorry for the long delay.
I was taking a look at the Measurement plugin and I think the only thing necessary for creating the compatibility is to calculate the cost appropriately for the order. Is that right?
It just needs to consider the line item weight as well. And, on the admin product page, nothing would change.
Let me know if you agree or if there is something else I’m not seeing.

ParticipantHi Pablo,
Yeah the only issue is that it cannot calculate if the pricing comes from the measurement pricing plugin. Like we use “sell in kg” and “sell in meters”. If you order 1500 g malts, cost of goods doesn’t know how to calculate the products cost. It always calculates it in 1 kg even a customer has ordered 15 kg.
