If PHP or JavaScript errors appear after updating Payment Methods by Product & Country for WooCommerce or WooCommerce, update to the latest plugin version, clear every cache, and check the browser console and the server log with WP_DEBUG on. If errors persist, disable other plugins or the theme one at a time on staging and contact support.
Common symptoms #
- Deprecation notices or warnings in the dashboard or in server logs.
- Gateways stop filtering, or checkout misbehaves, right after an update.
Causes #
- A WooCommerce or WordPress update changed an API the plugin (or another plugin) relies on.
- A caching or minification plugin is serving old JavaScript or CSS after the update.
- Another plugin or the theme depends on older checkout behavior.
Solution #
- Update to the latest version of the plugin and confirm it lists your WooCommerce version as tested (check the changelog).
- Clear every cache: server, CDN, caching plugin, and browser.
- Check the browser console for JavaScript errors and the server log (with
WP_DEBUGon) for PHP notices, and note the exact message. - If errors persist, test on a staging copy and disable other plugins or the theme one at a time to find the conflict.
- Send WPFactory support the full error message, your WordPress and WooCommerce versions, and your active plugins and theme.
Prerequisites #
- A recent site backup before updating.
- Access to server logs or WordPress debug mode.
