- Map your rules. For larger stores, keep a simple sheet of which categories, tags or products use which gateways. It makes conflicts easy to spot, especially for mixed carts.
- Plan for mixed carts. If a shopper can combine items with different gateway rules, make sure at least one gateway is allowed across the combination, or enable the Pro fallback gateway so checkout never ends with zero options.
- Keep the plugin updated. Updates track new WooCommerce releases and fix compatibility issues.
- Re-save after bulk changes. After editing many rules, save and clear caches so the storefront reflects the latest configuration.
