If pop-ups from Popups for WooCommerce: Add to Cart, Checkout & More flash and vanish, or the coupon field disappears on the cart or checkout, clear or raise Auto-close time (Pro) in the General section at WPFactory > Popups, check Prevent closing if clicking outside, clear all caches, and test with a default theme and other plugins disabled.
Common symptoms #
- The pop-up shows for a second, then closes before it can be read.
- After removing a coupon, the coupon field disappears from the cart or checkout.
Fix it, step by step #
- Check auto-close (Pro): go to WPFactory > Popups (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > Pop-up Notices) and clear or raise Auto-close time in the General section so pop-ups stay long enough to read.
- Review the outside-click setting: if you rely on clicking away to dismiss, make sure Prevent closing if clicking outside is set the way you expect.
- Rule out conflicts: temporarily switch to a default theme and disable other plugins, especially caching, optimization, and checkout-customizing plugins, then retest.
- Clear caches: clear page cache, CDN, and any JS/CSS minification so a stale copy of the plugin script
pnwc-frontend.min.jsis not being served. - Check AJAX handling: if the coupon field is removed by another script after an AJAX update, isolate that script during the default-theme test.
Tip: for checkout and coupon pop-ups, leaving auto-close off gives the customer time to read and act, which is better UX.
