Make-Offer Button Not Visible or Working

If the Make an offer button in Name Your Price: Make Your Own Offer for WooCommerce is missing or does nothing, check WPFactory > Price Offers > General: the Products setting, User visibility (set it to All users for guests), and the exclusions. Then make sure the Button position is not Do not add, and test with caching disabled.

Common symptoms #

  • No button on product pages.
  • Button visible, but clicking it opens nothing or the form fails to submit.
  • Works for logged-in users or admins, but not for guests.

Solution, step by step #

  1. Confirm the plugin is active and offers are enabled for the product. Under WPFactory > Price Offers > General, check the Products setting. If it is set to Enable for selected products only (Pro), the button only appears on products, categories, or variations you have enabled.
  2. Check User visibility. In the General section, User visibility can be set to Logged-in users only, which hides the button from guests. Set it to All users to show it to everyone.
  3. Check the exclusions. The Exclude options (out of stock, with price, above price, below price) can remove the button from products that match. Confirm the product does not fall under an active exclusion.
  4. Check the button position. In the Button section, make sure Position on single product page is not set to Do not add, and that the position is one your theme renders.
  5. Test with caching and optimization disabled. Open the page in a private window, purge any caching or CDN, and temporarily disable JS minification or deferral, which can break the script that opens and submits the form.
  6. Rule out theme or plugin conflicts. Switch to a default theme (such as Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four) and disable non-essential plugins except WooCommerce and Name Your Price. If the button works, re-enable one at a time to find the conflict.
  7. Try the shortcode. If automatic insertion is not firing, add [alg_wc_price_offers_button] to the product’s short description as a test. This is the plugin’s real button shortcode; it uses the current product and takes no parameters.
  8. Check the browser console. Open DevTools and look for JavaScript errors when opening or submitting the form. Resolve conflicting scripts, or send the console output to support.
