To reset EAN for WooCommerce settings, go to WPFactory > EAN (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > EAN), open a section, tick Reset section settings under Reset Settings, and click Save changes. To reset everything, tick Reset all settings in the Advanced section. Resets are free and do not delete the EANs saved on products.
Reset one section #
Every settings section (General, Tools, Order Tools, Compatibility, Barcodes, 2D Barcodes, Print, Advanced, Extra Fields) has its own reset control.
- Go to WPFactory > EAN (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > EAN) and open the section you want to reset.
- Scroll to Reset Settings at the bottom and tick Reset section settings.
- Click Save changes. Only that section returns to its defaults; a confirmation notice appears.
The per-section option ID follows the pattern wpfactory_wc_ean_<section>_reset, for example wpfactory_wc_ean_tools_reset.
Reset every setting #
- Open the Advanced section.
- In the Export/Import/Reset Plugin Settings group, tick Reset all settings (
alg_wc_ean_reset_settings). - Click Save changes. Every plugin option returns to its default value.
Note: a reset only clears plugin settings. It does not delete the EAN values saved on your products.
Back up your settings first #
Before resetting, you can save your current configuration from the same Advanced group:
- Export (
alg_wc_ean_export_settings): tick it and save to download a settings file. - Import (
alg_wc_ean_import_settings): choose that file later and save to restore your configuration.
