To debug why a shipping method is or is not showing, enable Debug logging in Conditional Shipping for WooCommerce: Restrict Shipping Options by Anything. With Debug on, the plugin writes a log you can read under the WooCommerce status screens.
Important: Debug currently logs ONLY the Cities and Date/Time conditions. It records the detected customer city and the date/time range evaluations. It does NOT log the product, category, tag, shipping-class, order-amount, user-role, user-ID, membership, or payment-gateway checks. Set your expectations accordingly: if your issue is with one of those conditions, the log will not contain it.
Step-by-step #
- Go to WPFactory > Conditional Shipping (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > Conditional Shipping).
- On the General section, enable Debug (
wpjup_wc_cond_shipping_debug). - Save changes.
- Reproduce the problem: visit the cart or checkout with a scenario that triggers the Cities or Date/Time condition.
- Go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and open the log with the source
conditional-shipping-for-woocommerce. - Read the entries to see the detected customer city and the date/time range evaluations.
Options reference #
| Label | Option ID | Type | Default | Free/Pro |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Debug | wpjup_wc_cond_shipping_debug |
Checkbox | No | Free |
What the log covers #
- Cities (Require Cities and Exclude Cities): the customer city the plugin detected, which is what the city match is compared against.
- Date/Time (Require Date/Time and Exclude Date/Time): the range evaluations, so you can see whether the current time fell inside a configured range.
For any other condition, the log stays silent. Turn Debug off again once you have finished troubleshooting.
