How to Restrict Payment Gateways for Accepted Offers

To restrict payment gateways for accepted offers in Name Your Price: Make Your Own Offer for WooCommerce, go to WPFactory > Price Offers > Advanced, select gateways under Payment gateways, and set the action to Exclude or Restrict. The rule applies only when the cart contains an item from an accepted offer. This feature is free.

Where the settings live #

Go to WPFactory > Price Offers (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > Price Offers) and open the Advanced section.

Options (all free) #

Label Option ID Default
Payment gateways alg_wc_po_payment_gateways Empty (ignored)
Exclude or Restrict alg_wc_po_payment_gateways_action Exclude

How it works #

  1. Under Payment gateways, select the gateways you want to control. If you leave it empty, the feature does nothing.
  2. Set the action:
    • Exclude: the selected gateways are hidden at checkout when an accepted offer is in the cart.
    • Restrict: only the selected gateways are available; all others are hidden.

The rule applies only when the cart contains an item that came from an accepted price offer. Regular carts are unaffected.

  • Exclude price offers from coupons (alg_wc_po_exclude_cart_items_from_coupons, default enabled): stops coupons from further discounting a negotiated price.
  • Send emails in background (alg_wc_po_send_emails_in_background): queues offer emails through the WooCommerce Action Scheduler.
  • REST API (alg_wc_po_rest_api_enabled): exposes offers over the REST API. See the Offers REST API reference.
