“Add Stock” Fields to Product Quick Edit

Managing your product stock efficiently is essential for running a successful WooCommerce store. The Cost of Goods plugin by WPFactory allows you to enhance your stock management by adding “Add Stock” fields to both product “Quick Edit” and “Bulk Actions > Edit” options.  Enabling the “Add Stock” Fields

To add the “Add Stock” fields to both product “Quick Edit” and “Bulk Actions > Edit,” follow these straightforward steps:

1. Access Your WordPress Dashboard: Log in to your WordPress admin panel.

2. Navigate to WooCommerce Settings: Go toWooCommerce on the lefthand sidebar of your WordPress dashboard.

3. Cost of Goods Tab: In the WooCommerce Settings, find the “Cost of Goods tab and click on it to access the plugin’s settings.

4. Product SubTab: Within the Cost of Goods settings, you will find various subtabs related to the plugin’s functionalities.

5. Product Tab: Click on the Product subtab to access options related to product settings.

6. Enable “Add Stock” Fields: Look for the option that enables Add Stock fields in Quick Edit and “Bulk Actions > Edit.” Check the box next to this option to enable it.

7. Save Changes: Ensure that you save your changes by clicking the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.

Using the “Add Stock” Fields

Once you’ve enabled the “Add Stock” fields in both product “Quick Edit” and “Bulk Actions > Edit,” you can start using these features to efficiently manage your product stock:

Quick Edit:

1. Access Product List: Navigate to the product list in your WooCommerce admin panel.

2. Quick Edit a Product: Hover over the product you want to edit, and you will see the “Quick Edit” option.

3. Edit Stock: Click on “Quick Edit,” and you will now find the “Add Stock” field available for editing. Enter the quantity of stock you want to add to the product directly in this field.

4. Save Changes: After making your adjustments, click the “Update” button to save your changes quickly.

Bulk Actions > Edit:

1. Select Products: From the product list, select the products to which you want to add stock.

2. Bulk Actions: In the Bulk Actions” dropdown menu at the top, select “Edit” and click the “Apply” button.

3. Edit Stock: Scroll down to the “Stock” section in the bulk edit screen, and you will find the “Add Stock” field. Enter the quantity of stock you want to add to the selected products.

4. Save Changes: Click the “Update” button to apply the stock changes to the selected products.
