Hi Chris,
Thanks for the feedback.
The plugin allows excluding/including based on category/product/tag and more options, you can see them if you scroll down the XML settings page.

Thank you for your swift reply.
I checked all options and shortcode options and I couldnt find a reference to type of products apart of variable products.
How can i exclude all group products without having to insert them individually at the ‘Products to exclude’ field?
Hi Charis (and sorry for the typo in my first response),
I got it, even variables can’t be excluded now, will work on a new option to include (Simple, Variable, Grouped) products in XML.
Will let you know when it’s released.

Delighted to tell you that we just launched a new version 2.6.3 where it includes a filtering option based on product type, please update to the latest release, test it, and let us know what you think of it.
