Hello.. I just bought your plugin but I am facing an issue and I am asking your assistance please because it is urgent for my client.
When I use the Cron job from On-hold to Completed, the order status changes correctly but the Email (Appointment Confirmation) isn’t sent..
If I run “Run all rules now” form your plugin, the order status changes correctly and the Email (Appointment Confirmation) is sent.
Please advise because I need the email to be sent automatically (similar to the action of “Run all rules now”)
Thank you in advance,
Fares
July 24, 2021 at 5:21 pm #85546Hi Fares,
Hmm… That’s odd… Generally our plugin only updates order status, and it’s not responsible for emails, so everything that is hooked to the order status change, including emails, should be processed as usual.
Are there any errors in “WooCommerce > Status > Logs” (you may also want to enable WP debug mode)?
As I understand this “Appointment Confirmation” email is a custom one, correct? How are you adding it to the completed orders? With some plugin, or custom PHP code?
P.S. If you wish, you can share admin account to your site, so I could log in and check what’s going on (my email is [email protected]).

July 24, 2021 at 7:40 pm #85548I’ve received your email – will reply there.
July 26, 2021 at 5:48 pm #85549If anyone else has the same problem – as we’ve figured out, it was a compatibility issue with the “Doctreat – Doctors Directory WordPress Theme” (which is responsible for sending the “Appointment Confirmation” emails). Now, in our development plugin version 1.7.0, we’ve added “Doctreat” option to “WooCommerce > Settings > Order Status Rules > Advanced & Tools > Compatibility Options” – it looks like it solves the problem.
