Hi there, I can see in your pro version you have the option to print barcodes.

What I need is for a website admin to download the product name, SKU and EAN code for each product for individual orders as a csv file, so they can email to the customer.

Does the pro version offer this?

    Thanks

    Lucy

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

It is possible to export orders with EAN numbers. You don’t need to use the Pro version of the plugin. But you need to use a third-party plugin. I would suggest you use the Advanced Order Export For WooCommerce plugin. After installing the plugin, please go to WooCommerce > Export Orders, then from the Set up fields to export, please go to the Product order items section, then click Add field, then type _alg_ean in the or type meta key here field. Then please click on Confirm and drag this new field to the list on the left, where it says, Drag rows to reorder exported fields. The EAN of each product in the order will be listed in this column.

Please give it a try. Please let us know if you encounter any issues.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Moshtafizur,

I have downloaded the plugin, and added the EAN meta key, but when I export an order, that column is blank. I checked the product EANs, and some had warnings saying they weren’t valid, so disabled the checking EANs are valid in the EAN plugin settngs.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Lucy

    Hi Moshtafizur,

unfortunately, yesterday the site was experiencing an issue where we could not edit product data. I performed a health check and the cause was a plugin clash caused by the EAN plugin. I have now had to switch off the plugin.

Have you had this issue before? I will email the logins to the email address you provided.

    Kind regards

    Lucy

Hi Moshtafizur, false alarm! I just updated to the latest Woocommerce and the issue has resolved.

I’ll still share logins so you can take a look at the order export. Many thanks!

    Hi Moshtafizur,

unfortunately I have checked today and the issue still persists, we cannot edit or save some product details. I have had to switch off the EAN plugin, which is not ideal. I have emailed you the logins already, but also, you are free to look at the staging site, where you will also see the problem with the plugin enabled. https://staging9.theenglishsoapcompany.trade/wp-admin/

If you enter your email address you can reset your password.

    Thanks

    Hi Lucy,

I was able to log in and check the settings.

I was able to edit and save product details for testing purposes without any problem. So, when you try to save product details, does it give any error notice? Then, would it be possible for you to send a screenshot of the error notice to [email protected]?

Now, regarding the order export issue, I deleted the old _alg_ean field and created a new one in the Product order items section. Now it is exporting the EAN of each product in an order.

    Kind regards,
    Moshtafizur
