To show or hide a shipping method based on the product tags in the cart, use the Product Tags conditions in Conditional Shipping for WooCommerce: Restrict Shipping Options by Anything. Product tags are fully supported: you can require a method only when a tagged product is present, or hide a method when a tagged product is present.

How it works #
WooCommerce lets you assign tags to products for organization and filtering. Conditional Shipping reads those tags from the items in the cart and matches them against the tags you select for a shipping method:
- Require Product Tags (
product_tag_incl): the shipping method appears only when the cart contains a product with one of the selected tags. - Exclude Product Tags (
product_tag_excl): the shipping method is hidden when the cart contains a product with one of the selected tags.
Step-by-step setup #
- Go to WPFactory > Conditional Shipping (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > Conditional Shipping).
- Open the Product Tags section.
- Tick Enable condition for Require Product Tags, Exclude Product Tags, or both.
- For the shipping method you want to restrict (for example Flat rate or Local pickup), select one or more product tags in that method’s value field. You only set a value for the method(s) you want to control, other methods are left untouched.
- Save changes, then add a tagged product to the cart and check the available methods at cart or checkout.

This feature is free. Conditional Shipping for WooCommerce: Restrict Shipping Options by Anything Pro adds per shipping-instance conditions, so you can apply a rule to one specific shipping method instance inside one specific zone rather than to the method type everywhere. See what Pro unlocks.
