When a stock issue in Automated Stock Update Triggers for WooCommerce is not tied to a specific setting, update the plugin to the latest version and keep WooCommerce and WordPress current. Then test for conflicts with other inventory, order, or B2B plugins that may also move stock, ideally on a staging copy of your store.
- Update the plugin: run the latest version. Fixes and compatibility updates ship regularly.
- Check WooCommerce and WordPress versions: keep both current. Stock Triggers uses WooCommerce’s own stock functions, so a very old WooCommerce can change behavior.
- Test for conflicts: another inventory, order, or B2B plugin may also move stock. Note that when Remove standard triggers is on, Stock Triggers also removes B2BKing Pro’s stock functions from unselected events, which is intended compatibility but worth knowing if you run B2BKing.
- Use a staging site: reproduce and test changes on a copy of your store before applying them live.
- Turn on Debug: the log at WooCommerce > Status > Logs (source
stock-triggers) is the fastest way to see what fired.
