The Convert Currency Advanced options in Payment Gateway Currency for WooCommerce are at WPFactory > Payment Gateway Currency > Convert Currency > Advanced. Use them when conversion misbehaves: they cover gateway locking, cart recalculation, price caching, session handling, the rate field, single product and shop currency checks, and debug logging.

Two options that are often confused #
Rate step and Enter as text are different settings:
- Rate step sets the
stepattribute of the numeric conversion-rate field (how small an increment you can type). It defaults to0.000001. - Enter as text switches the rate field to a plain text input, which then ignores Rate step. Turn this on only if your rates need a format the number field rejects.
Current gateway fallbacks #
This multiselect decides which gateway is used for conversion when the plugin cannot read the current gateway from the session. Choices: HTTP request payment_method variable (the default), First available payment gateway, Last known payment gateway, and Default payment gateway.
When to change caching #
If prices convert twice, keep Cache prices on and, if needed, raise Cache product ID to Product ID and product data or Product ID and product changes. Use Debug to write an alg-wc-payment-gateway-currency log to WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
Get more control #
These Advanced options are free. Payment Gateway Currency for WooCommerce Pro extends conversion to any gateway on your store. See what Pro unlocks.
