Advanced troubleshooting #
For advanced troubleshooting of Payment Methods by Product & Country for WooCommerce, deactivate other plugins and switch to a default theme to find conflicts. If gateways are not filtered at all, change Add filter in the General tab to On “wp_loaded” action or In constructor. Also check the WP_DEBUG log and the browser console for errors.
Rule out a plugin or theme conflict #
- Temporarily deactivate your other plugins, then retest checkout.
- If the problem clears, reactivate them one at a time to find the one responsible.
- Switch to a default theme (for example Storefront) to rule out theme JavaScript on the checkout page.
Try the “Add filter” timing option #
If gateways are not being filtered at all, another plugin may be registering payment gateways later than expected. In the General tab, change Add filter (alg_wc_pgpp_advanced_add_hook) from the default On “init” action to On “wp_loaded” action or In constructor, save, and retest.
Check for errors #
- Enable
WP_DEBUGand review the server error log for PHP notices. - Open the browser console (F12) on the checkout page and look for JavaScript errors that could stop the payment list from rendering.
Confirm the gateway is available to begin with #
The plugin only reorders or removes gateways that WooCommerce already offers. If a gateway is disabled in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments, or hidden by another payment-rules plugin, this plugin cannot bring it back.
