Configure the plugin settings #
The settings for Payment Methods by Product & Country for WooCommerce are organized into tabs. This article explains what each tab does so you know where to set your rules. Go to WPFactory > Payment Gateways per Products (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > Payment Gateways per Products).
The settings tabs #

Enabling a section #
There is no single switch that turns the whole plugin on or off. Instead, each tab has its own Enable/Disable > Enable section checkbox:
- Product Categories (
alg_wc_pgpp_product_cat_section_enabled) and Product Tags (alg_wc_pgpp_product_tag_section_enabled) are enabled by default. - Products (
alg_wc_pgpp_products_section_enabled) and Countries (alg_wc_pgpp_countries_remove_enabled) are Pro and off by default.

- Fallback gateway: a Pro option that shows one chosen gateway only when your rules would otherwise leave the cart with no available payment method. See the fallback how-to for details.
- Add filter: controls when the plugin registers its gateway filter (In constructor, On “init” action, or On “wp_loaded” action). Leave it on init unless a theme or another plugin causes gateways not to filter correctly, then try another option.
Reset a section #
Each tab ends with a Reset Section > Reset settings checkbox. Ticking it and saving clears only that tab’s options and shows a “Your settings have been reset” notice.
Remember #
- Category and tag rules are free; per-product, per-country and fallback rules require Pro.
- Always click Save changes after editing a tab.
