This comparison shows exactly what Coupon by User Role for WooCommerce includes in each version. The short version: every feature works in the free plugin, but only for the eight standard roles. Pro unlocks the same features for all of your custom user roles.
The one real difference: which roles are available #
The free version lists only the standard WordPress and WooCommerce roles: Guest, Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor, Subscriber, Customer, and Shop manager. Pro adds every custom role registered on your site, such as roles created by membership, wholesale, or B2B plugins. Disable, invalidate, per-coupon control, amounts, exceptions, and the message all exist in both versions.

Which version do you need? #
- If you only target the built-in roles (guests, customers, subscribers, shop managers, and so on), the free version does everything.
