To install Product XML Feeds Manager for WooCommerce, add the free version from Plugins > Add New or upload the Pro zip, activate it, then open WPFactory > Product XML Feeds. Your first XML feed, XML Feed #1, is ready to configure and create with one click. WooCommerce must be active.
Before you start #
- WooCommerce, installed and active (the plugin lists WooCommerce as a required plugin).
- WordPress 5.3 or newer.
Install the free version #
- Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard.
- Search for Product XML Feeds for WooCommerce.
- Find the plugin by WPFactory and click Install Now.
- Click Activate.
Install the Pro version #
- Buy Product XML Feeds at the plugin page and download the Pro zip from your account.
- In your dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New and click Upload Plugin.
- Choose the downloaded zip and click Install Now.
- Click Activate. If the free version is already active, you can safely deactivate it: the Pro version replaces it and keeps your settings. While Pro is active, the free copy does not load, so nothing runs twice.
Open the settings #
After activation, go to WPFactory > Product XML Feeds (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > Product XML Feeds). The plugin adds its own settings tab and places it in the WPFactory menu, so you will not find it under the WooCommerce Products tab.
Create your first feed #
- Go to WPFactory > Product XML Feeds and open the XML Feed #1 section.
- Keep Enable/Disable on and, if you like, give the feed an Admin title such as “Google Shopping”.
- Check the XML file path and name. The default is
products.xmlin your WordPress root; you can use a subfolder such asfeeds/google.xml. - Adjust the XML header, XML item and XML footer templates to the tags your marketplace expects, using the product shortcodes.
- Click Save changes, then Create now. The feed URL is shown under the path field; submit that URL to your marketplace.
After that, the feed is rebuilt automatically on its Update period (weekly in the free version). See generate your feed and find its URL for details.
If something goes wrong #
- A red “Plugin doesn’t have access to …” message in the feed settings (next to Use Site Address (HOME_URL)) means WordPress cannot write to that folder. Choose a writable folder or fix the folder permissions.
- The feed URL opens a 404. Click Create now first; the file only exists after the first build.
- You cannot find the settings under WooCommerce > Settings > Products. They are in their own tab, moved to the WPFactory menu.
- Large catalogs time out. See the advanced options for the products query block size and PHP limits.

FAQ #
Is this the same plugin as “Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce”? #
No. That is a different plugin with a similar name. This plugin is Product XML Feeds Manager for WooCommerce by WPFactory; its paid edition is called Pro.
Which marketplaces does it support? #
Any marketplace that accepts an XML feed, because you build the feed from editable templates and shortcodes, for example Google Shopping, Skroutz or a price comparison site.
Do I need Pro to use the shortcodes? #
No. Every shortcode works in the free version. Pro adds more feeds, the update schedule, extra product filters, product type selection and the text feed.
Do I lose my feed when I upgrade to Pro? #
No. Pro uses the same settings, so your feed configuration carries over.

The free version is a full toolkit for one feed. Product XML Feeds Manager for WooCommerce Pro adds unlimited feeds, a flexible update schedule, product-type and advanced product filtering, and text feeds. See what Pro unlocks.
