the call-back-tomorrow problem

Your client just asked if your build can do X.

Three responses. One of them keeps you on the project.

option A · slow

"Let me get back to you."

  • Spend 2 hours researching plugin options
  • Test 3 plugins on a staging site
  • Scope custom dev for the missing parts
  • Quote +$1,200 in custom work, +1 week to timeline
  • Client hires the freelancer who said "yes" yesterday
outcome lose the project
option B · risky

"Yes, I'll figure it out."

  • Quote the project at your standard rate
  • Hit feature blocker mid-build
  • Buy a $99/yr plugin, then another, then another
  • Burn margin on plugin licensing the client doesn't see
  • Eat the lost hours; ship anyway
outcome ship at thin margin
option C · WPFactory

"Yes, it's already in my stack."

  • Show the client the live demo plugin
  • Quote a confident project price
  • Build it Monday, ship by Friday
  • Plugin cost: already paid. Margin: kept.
  • Get hired, then re-hired
outcome win the project, full margin

Freelancers using a prebuilt WooCommerce toolkit consistently report higher win rates, faster delivery, and margin retention vs. quoting custom dev. This is the pattern WPFactory was built around.

your billable hour is your unit of currency ↓

The freelancer math.

Senior WooCommerce freelancer billable rate: $80-$150/hr. Every hour you don't spend researching plugins is real money.

0hrs saved per typical project

Hours that used to go to plugin research, evaluation, and minor custom dev. Now folded into the toolkit.

at $100/hr billable = $0 recovered
payback math
1st project · breakeven hit

If WPFactory saves you 5 hours on one project at $100/hr, you've made the $499 back. Every project after that is pure margin.

5 hrs × $100/hr = $500 (=$499 in)
$0 recovered over year one

Conservative: 5 client projects × 8 hours saved × $100/hr = $4,000 recovered. After the $499 plugin cost, that's $3,500 in pure margin or freed-up time.

net of $499 plugin cost = $3,501 margin

★★★★★

I've worked with WPFactory plugins across several WooCommerce stores, and I'm genuinely impressed with the quality. Each plugin focuses on solving a specific problem, no bloated all-in-one tools, just clean and modular features that integrate perfectly with WooCommerce. Performance has been excellent, even on high-traffic sites. Setup is straightforward, the admin UI is clean, and everything works as expected.

How many client sites does All Access cover?
Unlimited. Install on every site you've ever built and every site you'll ever build. Plugins are GPL-licensed, no per-domain activation, no audit, no caps. You can be a solo freelancer with 3 clients or a 5-person studio with 80 sites; the license is the same.
Can I bill clients for these plugins?
Yes, any way you want. Most freelancers do one of three things: (1) bake the cost into the project price ($X for build, plugins included), (2) itemize on the invoice ("Premium plugin suite, $Y"), or (3) roll it into a monthly maintenance retainer. WPFactory doesn't restrict, audit, or care.
What happens if a client stops working with me?
The plugins keep working on the client site. They're GPL-licensed, the client owns the code on their site forever and can hire any other developer to maintain it. You don't have a license-key conflict because there's no domain-tied license key. Clean handoff every time.
What if WPFactory raises prices or shuts down?
All Access is a one-time payment with lifetime updates. If prices go up tomorrow, your $499 still covers you. And because every plugin is GPL, even in the unlikely event WPFactory disappeared, you'd retain legal right to use and modify every version of every plugin you'd already downloaded. 13 years of business since 2013, but the GPL is the deeper protection.
Is $499 really worth it for a solo freelancer?
Math: senior WooCommerce freelancer billable rate is $80-$150/hr in the US. If WPFactory saves you 5 hours of plugin research / minor custom dev on a single project (it usually saves much more), you've broken even. Most freelancers use the toolkit on 3+ projects in year one, by the second project, it's pure margin recovered.
Can I white-label or rebrand for clients?
Yes. GPL license means you can fork, modify, and rebrand. Plugin headers (name, author, description) can be changed in code so clients see your studio name in their wp-admin instead of "WPFactory." Several freelancers do this routinely. We don't restrict it, we don't ask, we don't audit.
How does support work for client-managed sites?
You submit tickets in your own WPFactory account. Engineers reply to you, not your client. All Access tickets get priority handling. We never contact your client unless you explicitly cc them. Several freelancers position WPFactory support to their clients as "my plugin engineers" without us ever talking to the client directly.
Is there a freelancer-specific tier or discount?
No. And we'd argue you don't need one, the $499 All Access economics already work for everyone from a 3-client solo freelancer to a 10-person studio. For a solo freelancer, $499 is the equivalent of one billable day. It pays back inside the first project most freelancers run.
