How to Set Quantity Discounts on a Single Product

Per-product pricing lets you give one product its own quantity tiers, separate from the store-wide rule. The Price by Quantity & Bulk Quantity Discounts for WooCommerce plugin adds these controls right on the product edit page. Per-product pricing is free.

Before you start #

  • WooCommerce active, with Price by Quantity installed.
  • Per product enabled at WPFactory > Product Price by Quantity > General (alg_wc_wholesale_pricing_per_product_enabled, on by default).

Step-by-step #

  1. Edit the product and find the Product Price by Quantity meta box.
  2. Set Enable to Yes for this product.
  3. Choose a Discount type: Percent, Fixed, or Price directly (an exact per-unit price).
  4. Set Number of levels, then click Update so the level fields appear.
  5. For each level, enter a Min quantity and a Discount (or price, for Price directly). Enter a negative discount to add a fee instead.
  6. Update the product.

Note: a per-product rule overrides the store-wide All Products rule for that product. If the User Roles feature is on, the meta box also shows a levels block per selected role.

Use cases #

  • Give one bestseller deeper tiers than the rest of the catalog.
  • Set an exact wholesale price per unit with the Price directly type.

Troubleshooting #

  • No level fields? Set Number of levels, then click Update to reload the meta box.
  • Rule ignored on a variable product? See per-variation pricing; the parent does not use the per-product rule when Per variation is enabled.
