Add unlimited custom tabs with Product Tabs Pro #
The Pro version of Additional Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce lets you add as many custom tabs as you want, where the free version is capped at one global tab and one per-product tab. This article covers the three custom-tab areas and what changes when you upgrade.
Custom Tabs: All Products (global) #
Global tabs appear on every product. Use them for shipping, warranty, care or sizing information you want to keep consistent across the catalog. In Pro you set the Custom product tabs number (alg_custom_product_tabs_global_total_number) to any value and each tab gets its own Title, ID, Position and Content, plus show and hide controls by product and category. The free version fixes this number at 1.
Custom Tabs: Per Product #
Per-product tabs are added from the Custom Product Tabs meta box on a product’s edit screen, so they apply to that one product only. In Pro you raise the Total number of custom tabs on the product (or the site-wide default, alg_custom_product_tabs_local_total_number_default) and add several tabs to a single product. The free version allows one.
Variations Tabs #
Variations tabs add one tab per variation on a variable product, filled from shortcodes. This feature is available in both the free and Pro versions; it is off by default and enabled in the Variations Tabs section.
