To create a WooCommerce product XML feed and find its URL, install Product XML Feeds Manager for WooCommerce, go to WPFactory > Product XML Feeds (also at WooCommerce > Settings > Product XML Feeds) and open XML Feed #1. The feed URL is shown under XML file path and name, by default ending in /products.xml.
Can WooCommerce create an XML product feed without a plugin? #
No. WooCommerce core has no product XML feed. You can export products to a CSV file with the Export button on Products > All Products, and developers can read products through the REST API, but neither gives you a public feed URL that refreshes on a schedule.
General settings for a product XML feed #
The general settings control where each feed file is saved and how often it refreshes. They live inside every feed’s own section.
Go to WPFactory > Product XML Feeds (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > Product XML Feeds), then open the section for the feed you want to edit, for example XML Feed #1.
XML file path and name #
This sets the filename and location of the generated feed, relative to your WordPress root. The default for the first feed is products.xml. Additional feeds default to products_2.xml, products_3.xml and so on. The screen shows the full path on the server and the public URL, and warns you in red if the target directory is not writable.
Text file path and name #
Sets the filename for the plain-text version of the feed (for example products.txt). This field only produces a file when the Create text feed option is enabled, which is a Pro feature.
Use Site Address (HOME_URL) #
By default the feed path is based on the WordPress address (site_url()). Enable this to base it on the Site Address (home_url()) instead. This matters only when your WordPress files live in a subdirectory but your site is served from the root.
Update period #
Controls how often WordPress regenerates the feed automatically. On the free version this is fixed at Weekly. Changing the frequency (every minute, hourly, twice daily, daily, weekly) is a Pro feature. Use the Create now button on this screen to regenerate the feed immediately; when a schedule is active, the time remaining until the next run is shown next to the button.

Frequently asked questions #
Where do I find my WooCommerce feed URL? #
Open the feed’s section and look under XML file path and name: the line starting with URL: is the public address, for example https://yourstore.com/products.xml. See how to generate your feed and find its URL.
Why does my feed URL show a not found error? #
The file only exists after the feed has been generated. Click Save changes, then Create now. If a red message says the plugin does not have access to the folder, the target directory is not writable.
How often does the feed update? #
Weekly on the free version. Pro lets you choose every minute, hourly, twice daily, daily or weekly in Update period.
Can I create more than one feed? #
Yes, with Pro. The free version is limited to one feed; Pro raises Total XML files (feeds). See how to create multiple XML feeds.
