The Compatibility tab of Wishlist for WooCommerce, under WPFactory > Wishlist > Compatibility, holds switches for specific themes and plugins: a The7 theme option that replaces TI WooCommerce Wishlist buttons with this plugin’s button (free), and a Wishlist column for WBW Product Table (Pro). Tick the one that matches your setup and save.
Accessing compatibility settings #
Go to WPFactory > Wishlist (also reachable at WooCommerce > Settings > Wishlist) and open the Compatibility tab. Each section names the theme or plugin it applies to.
Options on the Compatibility tab #
| Section | Label | Option ID | Default | Free/Pro |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The7 (theme) | TI WooCommerce Wishlist: Replace TI Wishlist shortcode by ours | alg_wc_wl_the7_ti_wishlist_replace_shortcode |
No | Free |
| WBW Product Table (plugin) | Wishlist column: Add a Wishlist column to the product table | alg_wc_wl_wbw_product_table_wishlist_col |
No | Pro |
The7 theme compatibility #
The7 has built-in support for TI WooCommerce Wishlist and outputs its [ti_wishlists_addtowishlist] shortcode. With Replace TI Wishlist shortcode by ours ticked, that shortcode shows this plugin’s add/remove button instead, so The7 layouts keep a working wishlist button after you switch plugins, without editing templates. More detail: integrate the wishlist with The7.
WBW Product Table #
If you list products with the WBW Product Table plugin, Wishlist column (Pro) adds a column with the wishlist button to those tables.
Other compatibility settings elsewhere #
- Block product grids: Buttons > Thumb button – Loop > Gutenberg compatibility adds the thumb button to the “Products by Category” block.
- Cache plugins: General > Cache loads wishlist elements by JavaScript. See wishlist and cache plugins.
- AJAX filters and infinite scroll: Advanced > Javascript update events (Pro) re-scans products loaded by other plugins. See refresh the wishlist with JavaScript events.
- Multilingual stores: see wishlist issues with WPML.
Saving your adjustments #
After adjusting the settings, click Save changes so all modifications are applied, then clear any page cache.
If it does not work #
- The7 still shows the TI button: the option only takes effect on the front end; clear the cache and reload. If the TI plugin itself is still active, deactivate it.
- No Wishlist column in WBW Product Table: the option is Pro; after enabling it, check the table’s column settings in WBW Product Table.
